Anxiety & Depression

Stress rules everything in your life.

Your mind races with worry – Wondering… will I ever feel at peace?

Maybe this is just me. I need to adapt to this life, but I feel crappy.

As a way of finding peace, I try to talk myself out of feeling altogether. I go through the motions everyday… trying to feel joy – at least some contentment.

But the worrying never stops, and I remain on an emotional roller coaster.

Down in the dumps all the time.

You struggle to find meaning in your life.

Energy is lacking – tired all the time, sleeping too much or not enough.

Nothing seems pleasing anymore. Concentration is difficult, and you feel restless and irritable.

Finding enthusiasm is like searching for a great bra at a drugstore – not happening.

We all need to feel seen and heard.

Persistent feelings of anxiousness and worrying are symptomatic of anxiety, affecting all areas of your life, including relationships.

Being emotionally down all the time, lacking energy, losing sleep, unable to concentrate are signs of depression.

Nobody should accept living with anxiety or depression. You deserve a life with meaning, joy, hopefulness, and peace.

Finding that life begins by allowing someone to hear how you feel and how you want to belong.

Here is where to start…

Our work together will bring you an in-depth understanding of why these feelings exist.

Healing begins in a safe space where we tend old wounds and give birth to a new chapter in your life.

This chapter is about thriving instead of surviving.

Therapy is a process.

We start with a free 20-minute consultation to make sure that I am the right fit for you.

After our consultation if we are compatible, we’ll schedule more sessions, and our work together begins.

It is incredibly important to me that you have a lightbulb ‘a-ha’ moment in our first couple of sessions and that you gain a new skill in the same timeframe.

Momentum is key to the therapy experience; feeling like you are making progress is critical.

The healing journey has many paths.

I consider a therapist’s role to be like a trained guide and artist. We know the terrain well, but the destinations vary – leading us along different paths to arrive at the same destinations. The route taken depends on the client.

Here’s where the artist (clinician) comes into the picture. We have a palate of colors (theories) to draw from for laying out the map leading to our destination. So, every client’s path is precisely and beautifully unique just for them.

I will always provide you with guidance as we create your map. However, if we ever need to change routes, I will guide you with confidence and never arrogance or judgment.

Let’s create your map to recovery.

We can work together to relieve that worry and feeling down. You deserve a better life and should not settle for second best.

Let’s start – it’s time to choose you!
